3.	Declarations of interest.
Declaration was made by Cllr Carrie as he knows prospective new Cllr candidate 
4.	Discussion with the members of the public in attendance.
No members of public were present.
5.	Confirm the minutes of the previous Council meeting held on 6th May 2025 to be signed off by the Chairman.
Members confirmed 3rd June 2025 minutes as a true record these were signed off by the Chairman.
6.	Matters arising from the minutes not appearing on the agenda.
•	Co-option of new Cllr to Henllan Community Council (see item 21).
•	New Clerk Appointment.
7.	Traffic calming measures in Henllan updated report.
Cllr Carrie updated meeting on Speed watch day in Henllan reported vehicles sent to North Wales Police.
8.	Henllan Nature Reserve updated report.
Still awaiting the sign for the park from Denbighshire County Council (DCC).
9.	Top Park updated report.
Cllr Bellis updated the Council on the progress from DCC report going to Asset Committee for consideration for transfer to Henllan Community Council.  
10.	Application for Commuted Sum Finance.
Cllr Carrie informed the Council that the Council was successful in getting the grant for the fencing at Top Park. Cllr Delyth Jones ids assisting in getting estimates for the fencing. It is understood that a hedge will also be planted to protect the adjacent stone wall.
11.	HCC Asset List including Benches.
Ian has the current list Olive’s bench by the village shop is in has been ordered
and the new Notice board for Maes Sadwrn is ready for collection, needs to be collected.
12.	Henllan Flower Beds and Notice Boards.
Cllr J Jones has supplied plants to Ysgol Cymraeg Henllan and the children have been planting out. Henllan Community Council are grateful to all of our residents and children for the hard work in keeping the Community Councils   planters so beautiful. 
13.	Council’s Website and Communication (Social Media/Facebook) review.
Cllr Carrie has now got access to both the Councils website and e-mail     address both are in the currently being updated.
14.	One Voice Wales Training Courses (e-mailed earlier).
Cllr Bellis wished to be booked onto two courses, Module 4 Understanding the Law and Module 5 The Council Meeting. 
15.	Denbighshire County Council Code of Conduct Training Courses.
Cllrs J Jones and Cllr Roberts wanted to be booked onto DCC Code of conduct t
training.
16.	Finance update including Audit Sign off HCC Audit April 2025.
The Chairman Cllr Jones has signed the audit paperwork. The first set has been sent to Audit Wales and the Audit Notice has been posted on the Notice board and on Henllan County Councils website.

19.	Street scene (highway) issues.
Cllr Carrie has reported to DCC the handrail from Hen Lon to Llindir Street as needing attention. DCC are currently considering the issue. 
20.	Denbighshire County Council issues.
Discussion was held regarding not replacing the bridge to Tremeirchion, even if DCC Cllr D Jones was forwarding details to the Clerk for distribution to the Councillors
21.	New Co-opted Councillor
Thomas Marshall of 16 Glasfryn has indicated interest in the vacant Councillors seat. A vote was held and Mr Marshall was voted in as a Councillor.
22.	Vacant Clerks Position.
The advert has been posted with a closing date of early July currently we have one possible applicant and a sub committee has been formed of four councillors to interview candidates. 
23.	Urgent business under Section 100B (4) of the Local Government Act 1972.
