DRAFT MINUTES OF THE HENLLAN COMMUNITY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY 2ND DECEMBER 2025 IN THE CHURCH INSTITUTE, HENLLAN AT 7.30 PM

- Discussion with the members of the public in attendance
Mr Gwyn Jones would like to discuss the Cil y Coed Development on behalf of the Residents of Glasfryn and Maes Sadwrn as the hedgerow and trees have been removed and left them without privacy or security, they would like to know what is going to be put back in it’s place, whether it be a fence or trees
- Review by Councillors of any changes needed to the draft minutes before signing off.
Confirmed that the wording Football Field to be changed to Recreation Field
- Confirm the minutes of the previous Council meeting held on 4th November 2025 to be signed off by the Chairperson
Members confirmed 4th November 2025 minutes as a true record, these were signed off by the Chairperson.
- Traffic Calming Measures in Henllan updated report
Alan Roberts has now completed the training.
- Henllan Nature Reserve
Signs for Nature Reserve are to be installed in March 2026
- Report on Top Park
There are no updates from Denbighshire County Council, Nia has emailed but not yet received a reply, she will email again copying in DCC Members.
- Commuted Sum Funding
Ian has received an email from Chris and it has been agreed this evening that we will pay for the netting for the Recreation Field
- Top Park Mower Acquisition
After consultation with the Football Club it was decided that the £500 towards the new Tractor mower would be dropped and the Henllan Community Council has agreed to fully fund the new netting in association with DCC Grant funding.
- HCC’s Asset List Including Benches
The new notice board has been installed thanks goes to Ian Carrie and Clwyd Spencer for their help with this
- Henllan Flower Beds and Notice Boards
We are waiting for a visit from One Voice Wales Biodiversity Officer to discuss what we can put in the planters, we are hoping this might be January
- Review of the Council’s Website and Communications (Social Media/Facebook)
The Social Media Policy has been sent out to everyone and looked at and it will be put in the HCC Library next year.
- One Voice Wales Training Courses
All training has been completed.
- Denbighshire County Council Code of Conduct Training Courses
Was re-scheduled but link did not work to training, this has been reported
