- Discussion with the members of the public in attendance
2 Members of the Public attended the meeting to discuss the flooding of the gullies on Godre Garn, outside 9 and 10, the water reaches a high level due to the gullys being blocked, Councillor Pauline Edwards asked them to email her and she will contact Denbighshire County Council. Also a complaint was raised regarding the sight lines on Garn Lane because of overhanging tree branches. Cllr Ian to contact the owner of Garn House regarding this issue.
- Confirm the minutes of the previous Council meeting held on 5th May to be signed off by the Chairperson
Members confirmed 5th May 2026 minutes as a true record, these were signed off by the Chairperson.
- Traffic Calming Measures in Henllan updated report
It was discussed to go out with speed gun on Garn Lane as there are wagons speeding up and down there.
- Henllan Nature Reserve and Church Institute Bee Garden
Ian Carrie confirmed that he has applied for Biodiversity plants for the planters, it was also mentioned that Rob a Resident of Henllan has done one of the planters, so thank you to Rob. The Council voted to send a letter of thanks to Rob for his hard work.
- Report on Top Park
The licence has been received but has the incorrect date on it, nothing has been heard about the advert so Councillor Delyth Jones will chase.

There have been 3 quotes received for the football stop netting these were £2,234, £2,092 and £2874, we have a grant for £1,283 and can also claim the VAT back on this do the cost to the Council would be £578.06, £469.93 and £632.00 it was agreed to go with the £459.93 (£2,092 quote), This was voted on by the Council with Clwyd Spencer and Gwyn Roberts abstaining. Ian will contact DCC for payment of the grant monies.
- Planning Applications
28/2026/0227/TC demolish 1 Ash Tree, no objections but would like to replace the tree, Stephanie to email Tree Officer with this request.

Ian has received a complaint about a huge mound of soil that has been left on the Cil y Coed adjacent to Maes Sadwrn Properties, Ian. has emailed the owner of the site regarding this.
- Street Scene Matters (Highway)
Lorries have been knocking the signs on the Llannefydd Road, Ian will check the signs
- Denbighshire County Council Affairs
At a recent Council Meeting, it was discussed to look at Highways budget, officers will send out invites to a session to all Local Town Councils to discuss highways, Councillor Delyth Jones has assured us that the work on Meifod and Garn are on the Highways Plan. The North Wales Hospital agreement has been signed, the Authority is concerned about how unsafe the building is and have enhanced the security. Denbigh Police have a meeting in Denbigh Town Hall 5-7pm to discuss a plan to enhance to the town centre and put plans in for funding to develop a market. It has been agreed that Denbigh Town Council do not want to buy the Town Hall and there are some high level discussion going on, the toilets are now closed as Denbigh Town Council haven’t taken them over, it has been agreed that the public can use the HWB toilets. There is a peoples emergency briefing climate change information at 6.45pm at Tym y Nant 12th June.
