Members confirmed 7th April 2026 minutes as a true record, these were signed off by the Chairperson.
- Traffic Calming Measures in Henllan updated report
Jackie Jones and Ian Carrie have been out with the speed gun, they caught 15 cars over 20 MPH limit, these have been reported the North Wales Police, warning letters will be going out to these drivers.
- Henllan Nature Reserve and Church Institute Bee Garden
It was agreed by the members that a donation of £200 is to be given towards the Bee Garden.
- Report on Top Park
Chris Brown has sent the last estimate for the fence, we now have 3 quotes, for the new fence Ian will be progressing these.
Rebecca from DCC can’t trace the licence fee for the rental of the corner plot, she is obtaining a new licence.
Nia has asked to advertise the transfer of the park to Henllan Community Council.
Water and drainage have now been connected to Top Parks portacabin.
- Top Park Mower Acquisition
Clwyd still has the HCC mower. Which currently has a flat tyre, Clwyd has been asked to get a quotation for the mower’s sale.

28/2026/0168 Application to fell tree, Henllan Community Council have no objections

Ian received correspondence from a concerned resident regarding the tree felling at School Street asking the Council to consider its removal for safety purposes.
- Street Scene Matters (Highway)
There are works down for completion this year on the roads, it is on DCC’s programme and will be done this year
There has been a complaint regarding parking when there are football matches on, Delyth has asked DCC for their advice, it was discussed about asking the Llindir if their car park can be used during match times.
- Denbighshire County Council Affairs
Grant has been awarded for works to be completed on Lenton Pool Roundabout, this is part of the works prior to North Wales Hospital scheme starting.

Ian Carrie showed new Henllan Community website that has a portal for the Community Council.
The result from the Audit Wales 2025-2026 was satisfactory.
